TUGAS KEPUSTAKAAN KIMIA
MAGNET

A.    Pengertian/ konsep

·         “It’s said to have a permanent magnetization and is called a permanent magnet.”(Roald K , 1979 : 352 )

·         “Faraday mengemukakan konsep-konsep tentang garis gaya serta medan magnet dan listrik.” ( John Gribbin, 2003 : 9 )

·         “A compass needle points north because the earth itsself is a magnet. (Hagh D. Young, 2007 : 658 )

B.     Bagian magnet

·         “The region was then known as magnesia and the ore was called magnetite. Piece of magnetite are known as natural magnet.”( John E.William, 1981 : 465 )

·         “In what are called hard magnetic materials, domains remain aligned even after the external field is removed, the result is a permanent magnet.”( Chris Vuille, 2009 : 651 )

C.     Kegunaan

·         “The magnet is used to focus positron on to sample which is ussually kept at liquid temperatures.”( Brian William, 1977 : 277 )

·          “Magnets are used in such devices as meters, motors and loudspeakers.”( Chris Vuille, 2009 : 626 )

·         “Magnets have been used for navigation at least since the 11th century. Magnets of this short are called permanent magnets.”( Hagh D. Young, 2007 : 650 )

·         “In a particular, an infinitesimal permanent magnet itself produces a dipole field.”( P.C. Clemmow, 1973 : 162 )

·         “These alloys make very good permanent magnets.( George R. Tracy, 1983 : 518 )

·         These metals make good temporary megnets and are used as cores for electromagnetics.”(George R. Tracy, 1983 : 518 )

D.    Pembuatan magnet

·       “Making a permanent magnet.”( Walter R. Brown, 1972 : 264 )

·         “Pick up a pin with the ends of  your horseshoe magnet and notice that the spin is attracted to both ends of the magnet.”( Walter R. Brown, 1972 : 265 )

·         “But the hardest materials are sought for making efficient permanent magnet. (P.C. clemmow, 1973 : 160 )

·         “Imagine first a permanent magnet in the form of a thin torus.” (P.C. clemmow, 1973 : 160 )

·         “Some materials have the properly that even in the absence of a B field, the permanent dipoles are at least partially aligned and the material is said to be permanently magnetized or to be a permanent magnet.( Roald K, 1979 : 387 )

·         “As a third example, take a bar magnet assembled from a large number of molecule dipole.( D.F Lawden, 2005 : 26 )

·         “Some ferromagnetic materials retain their magnetization even after the external magnetic field is removed. These materials can thus become permanent magnets.( Hagh D. Young, 2007 : 661 )
